Welcome to the NAREA 2007 Conference Web Site

The 2007 NAREA annual meeting will be held in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on June 10-13, 2006 at the Atlantic Sands Hotel. The post conference workshop, entitled Crop Insurance and Risk Management is also scheduled for June 12-13. Travelers can fly into Philadelphia, Baltimore, Salisbury MD or Atlantic City. All airports are within a 2 hour drive from Rehoboth Beach. The Atlantic Sands Hotel (http://www.atlanticsandshotel.com) is located directly on the ocean-front, wooden boardwalk in Rehoboth Beachone of the countrys great beach towns. Within easy walking distance are many fantastic restaurants, shops, and beach amusements. After the paper sessions, relax on the wide sandy beach or visit the hotels outdoor pool and Tiki bar. A block of rooms has been reserved at $100 per night plus tax. A limited number of rooms have been blocked for Saturday at $130 per night plus tax. The opening reception will be held on Sunday evening (June 10th), and is free for those registering for the conference. The conference registration fee will be $135 for regular members (for early registration), which includes a ticket to Mondays Awards Luncheon.  See the conference program for further details.

The planning committee members for the 2007 NAREA annual meeting include Steve Hastings, Josh Duke, and Tom Ilvento.  The planning committee members for the 2007 NAREA Workshop on Crop Insurance include Cal Turvey (chair) Wes Musser, Mike Roberts, Bob Parsons and Don Tilman. Harry Kaiser and Tim Phipps are ex-officio members.
